Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement
We don’t need to walk a labyrinth to be mindful - but it helps to walk in awareness. Movement is a gift that we shouldn’t take for granted. Mindful movement involves mental focus, to train your body to move optimally through both athletic activities and everyday life. Being aware of our body and our breath can have positive effects on both your physical and mental well-being. When you are working out on a specific part of your body, focus solely on that body part and notice the difference. The same goes for your breath, when you focus on your breath, it’s a simple act of self care that can change your mood, your workout and even your day! This week I invite you to #BREATHE, move mindfully, create a space that you feel grounded, connect with nature and be more aware of your body and mind.
